Why is Minecraft not included with windows in gamepass?

Initially, they all had to be paid separate, and they were all different games. I still own minecraft pocket edition, and that only cost $7 like 10+ years ago. The issue is, I already bought this game on one or two devices, I shouldn't have to repurchase it AGAIN because microsoft doesn't want to give me the game I've paid for already.

Regardless of it being a "play anywhere" title or not, it's available on all systems, for different prices. Most of their revenue comes from skin/texture packs, or whatever other microtransactions, not the sale of their game.

If I'm using the same microsoft account as I did on console to buy these games, it should be included for me as purchased on PC. It's the same store, same game.

because the game is not a play anywhere title, and you have to purchase a copy for each and every platform you play on, be it each console brand, mobile and pc. the following may be the reason lol

Why give it away in gamepass pc which has a small subscriber count, when you can make a huge sum from individual sales, the mobile version of the game is estimated to be 30% percent of all sales.

To play Minecraft on all platforms that it is available for you will need to purchase it.

Minecraft will be coming to Gamepass on 4th April, not sure if it includes Windows 10 version.

The PC version of Minecraft is a seperate game and not included on PC gamepass

Minecraft on Xbox and on Windows 10 are separate. Yes, they're the same Play Together version but they're 2 different games to purchase. Minecraft for Xbox is in the GamePass, but Minecraft for Windows 10 isn't
