reports goto the enforcement team that stuff is on the server level not something you would have access to

If you took it to the police they have to follow their procedure on it

Yes there is a procedure and it's not something you can obtain that's what law enforcement is for like everything else that has to do with crime

I am happy to try and help you but please note that this is a community form and is staffed by volunteers and gamers just like you - not Microsoft staff. We have no access to accounts, Microsoft systems or customer information and can only offer helpful advice.

That sounds like a terrible experience, and if you have not done so already, if you feel they acted against the Terms of Service or Community Standards, you should report that account (find out more here ) and and block them and try to put them out of your mind. However, If you feel they have also broken the law in your territory, especially if you or someone you know has been subject to threats of violence or harm, you should also contact your local law enforcement and report this as you would any crime. Your local law enforcement would liaise with Microsoft if necessary. If the Microsoft Enforcement team suspect that a crime may have been committed on the XBOX service, they would of course contact the relevant law enforcement. Keep in mind that XBOX is very unlikely to update you on any Enforcement actions taken against an account you report a complaint against, unless further details are required or law enforcement is involved.

I am afraid no one here is qualified or able to discuss Enforcement team actions as we are not Microsoft employees and have no access to such information. If you feel that Microsoft has failed in their duty to protect their users or to abide by the law, you should address it with Microsoft Support here as sadly no-one in this forum can assist.

Didnt the US pass some law a few back that crimes committed on the internet are now felonies?

This isnt naming and shaming, this is theft from xbox clear as day. And how are you going to report a facebook post via a console anyway 🤔

But hey, if you want to aid and abet a felony thats none of my buisness.

What type of Felony did they commit? I reported someone for calling me a homosexual and they did something about it asap they were not able to text anyone for a while.
