Why is Microsoft forcing to buy Xbox game pass.

Hello I am a very old player. I've had my same account for almost 15 years. Never ever have I been forced to buy a subscription. I am trying to switch from Xbox game pass which I realized is a complete waste of time. Back to the original Xbox live $10 a month general live. I'm noticing Xbox is forcing people to buy the game pass and trying to delete the Xbox live from the options. For this reason in this reason alone I am going to have to sell my Xbox delete my Xbox account and go to Sony and PlayStation where I know I have professionals in the background working or not out for my money.

No if you convert you lose.the yearly the only way to.Keep it Is.not.to convert

Basically if you upgrade to ultimate the only way to get your annual gold is by codes

After you revert back

I literally paid an annual fee for me & my son $60ea this June. The other yr they converted it to quarterly payments on my plan for more $$. Xbox was tryna b sly. I had to call xbox support in order for them to convert it back to annual payments again.

yearly Xbox live subscriptions have not been available for quite some time, while there are still cards out there that are valid, no more being made. This is the same price of Xbox live gold is currently

You can do Microsoft Rewards and earn free months of Game pass if cost is an issue

You do not need any subscriptions to play any games that don't say "internet required" or something similar.

Well my price of gold was only $60 per yr. I just paid this past June. Now Itz basically gonna be $120 now? That seems like a force to me. Unless ther jus upping their prices. Idk

Yes I’m saying I’ve been paying $60 annually. I just paid $60 this past June, But xbox slyly tries to convert your plan into monthly or quarterly like they’ve done to me the other yr, I had to call xbox to convert my plan back to $60. But what I’m reading on there site is Itz a $9.99 game pass conversion monthly payment starting sept 14. Maybe I’m wrong or missing something? Maybe I have to call xbox again?
