    Why is it when i block or remove friends theyre still showing unblocked and still as a friend?


    Why is it when I block people or remove them, it doesnt actually do it? I have removed some people and their names always pop up when theyre online. I have nothing to do with those people. Why are they showing me theyre online? Xbox is a dumb piece of **** for this, but the worst of all is people I blocked dont get blocked. Now everytime they want to bother me or bug me their messages keep coming through even with my privacy settings turned on. Ive turned my privacy settings on to deal with this nuissance but its like xbox wants me to kill someone. Block the **** or Im done with this piece of **** xbox. Im very close to selling it all and forever forgetting about this stupid **** that they sold me.

    Still getting 'online' notifications from blocked users

    Hey SnuffMyBoon,

    I just tried this with a random account on the PC Xbox App - it seems if you block someone and then unblock them, they still remain your friend. I would try unblocking them then removing them as a friend - this might stop the notifications.

    So I did all of that and the 4 friends I used to have are not on my friends list but they are still showing up as following me even when I have them blocked and unblocked. Also, I am not on their friends list anymore nor am I in their followers list. Any other ideas or suggestions?

    The friend that shows online always sees the others online we've tried, removing and adding, blocking and unblocking, and appearing offline and online.

    You CAN forcibly remove followers! Just temporarily block someone then unblock 'em. When you block someone you're removed from their friend's list too!
