Why is it so hard to make a purchase for my child on your store!!!

Please sort out your parental payment features, it causes unnecessary drama when kids do the hard work to earn something and you use all the tools provided by Microsoft and they are just bad and don't work.

Kids account shows a balance of for argument sake £10, game costs £5, push allow on the parental controls and it says you need to add funds...

And why do we have to add a balance to an account rather than just paying, its penny pinching bull **** that is unnecessary.

When your competitors can just use a fingerprint to pay the exact amount jumping through all the hoops is just lazy product management on your side.

I agree that it is a little cumbersome to buy for kids but I have not had the same experience as you.

When my kids needs funds to buy Fortnite v-bucks for example, I add the funds to their Xbox/Microsoft account and they are then able to use the money in game.

It would much easier to have a way to authorize payment of the exact payment from the billing methods linked to the parent account - the approval could be to approve the game and payment.

There's usually 1 of 2 reasons why you can't make a 360 purchase from the One/website. Either you're on a child account or you need either a credit card or Paypal on file in order to make the purchase. The 360 store is set up differently from the store on
the One/website.

If you're on a child account, there would be no other way to make the purchase than to make it from the 360. Support can't make purchases for you.

Is your account an child account ? If so that is why you must either use a 360 or have an adult account to make be purchases on xbox one

The One store and 360 store are set up differently. So even though you can purchase One content through it, there are still certain restrictions that can keep an account from purchasing 360 content through the One store. As stated above, if you're on a
child account you would have to make the purchase through a 360 console. That is due to child restrictions that cannot be adjusted through the One store.

This is so annoying. The child accounts are not allowed to buy backward compatible games through the web! The only way is through the 360 console, but not the new xbox one! My child has got credit to spend and gold subscription, but how can he make use of
it and get the discounts he is entitled to for xbox 360 games? Buying xbox 360 is not an option.

That why a child account can't make the purchase on the website as it would be a serious security issue

So your best option is to make your own account and make the purchase for him on your own gold membership and credit card since it applies to the whole console as home
