    Why is it not letting me play my xbox gold game, but allowing my friend to?


    When I put my friends account on my xbox, and changed it to his home xbox so he could have ultimate game pass too. I can no longer play xbox gold games on my account, but if i switch to his i can. Is there a way to be able to keep it so he can have ultimate game pass, and I can play these games on my account?

    Also keep in mind that sharing account information violates the code of conduct/terms of service, so signing into your friend's account does put you both at risk for being banned.

    GTA V Online not working

    All Xbox games (with the exemption of those that are "Free to Play") require an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online. I'm afraid that's why GTA is not allowing you to play Online.
