Why is GamePass requiring a Controller for PC Games.

I have been trying to play Oblivion for the past few hours without a Xbox Controller(Which it doesn't require through the Steam App!), yet it constantly defaults to the Controller Keybinds, and won't function at all through the App without a controller connected, instead requiring you to go through the Browser Client.

My question is WHY?

Its not a game that requires a controller, nor does that enhance the experience, so why is the GamePass trying to force me to run to the store and buy a $60+ Accessory to play it, at that rate I should just purchase the game through a competitor like steam.

I am playing on the cloud, but that doesn't seem to require a controller for some of the other games I play on it. That still doesn't make sense for it to require a controller.

I would install it, but it doesn't seem to like my 7200RPM HDD.

Are you sure you're not playing the cloud?

Xbox gold is for console users only, not required for PC. You will need game pass ultimate or gamepass pc to play gamepass games on PC.

Or you could.use the pc version if it's on gamepass pc if you meet the system requirements

Xcloud removes system requirements but are as mentioned console games

in order to play mcc on pc you require to have gamepass or gamepass ultimate then you can play the game for free
