    Why is Cod Black ops Cold War telling me to buy the game again?


    When I try to launch the game it tells me to buy it. I already made sure all of the add one and everything were installed as well and it still hasn’t worked. I’ve tried restarting my Xbox as well and still haven’t had any luck. But when I delete everything and reinstall it. It says it’s connecting to online services then it gives me an error code and the option to retry connecting or to play offline and when I press retry it tells me to buy the game again. Is there a way to fix this?

    These are the required packs for the game, Ricky.

    Can you please search the packs on Microsoft Store manually and then install them from there?

    So I did that but instead of content pack 1-4 it lists the different game modes and I made sure everything was installed and it still didn’t work

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    For cases like this what we initially need to do is to quit the game and perform power cycle in that way once you launch the game your in-game data will just re-sync.

    Kindly quit the game and follow the steps below before you re-launch the game.

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    After that, go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

    Make sure that these packs are installed:

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 1

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 2

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 3

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 4
