    Why is ARK: Survival Ascended taking me back to Dashboard when loading up a game


    I am trying to access a modded server my friend has bought for us all to play ARK together, I am on the new 1tb Xbox series s as I upgraded it. Didn't think I'd encounter such an issue. I uninstalled ark, reset my Xbox in hopes this would fix and still having same issue, loads me in, cuts me straight out back to the dashboard. I am fed up, what's going on?!

    Its Ark Survival Ascended. It was happening prior to them releasing a major update today.

    Also, when we try to enter the online server it tell that I need a online access but, the Xbox is linked and I can download gamepass games or play online on other game. It's only with Ark survival ascended

    According to your description, you cannot install your DLC content in Ark Survival Ascended.



    This is a hot issue, and the community has received a lot of feedback from players with the same problem.

    Ark Survival Ascended - "DLC not installed" - Microsoft Community

    You may need to wait for an official update to install the DLC content normally.

    And you can try to uninstall and install it on the Microsoft Store/Xbox different programs to see if it works.
