    Why is almost nothing working on Xbox?


    I cant download or update any game, i have 128 games on my console and the only one i can still play is NBA 2k23. When i try to update something it just says "Installation stopped" or it says "Updating..." but it never actually updates or progresses at all. This has been going on for about 2 days.

    Try clearing your MAC address

    Press Start at the main Xbox menu. Navigate to Settings. Select Network Settings, Advanced Settings, Alternative Mac Address, and finally Clear.

    BTW, so far no DHCP issues like I was having before.

    Now oddly enough, we have connectivity right now, but like the past few days, it likely will not last.

    I Live in British Columbia, Canada.

    I have a CISCO DPC3825 Modem...Wireless

    I have one XBOX one Console

    Other thinks like tablets connect no problem. They are all powered off right now.

    I have tried numerous times to power off the modem and the XBOX, and re-power on again.

    I get some connectivity in the morning and some late at night. It took 3 days to download Titanfall updates.

    I have no idea if is is UPnP enabled. Should it be?

    Some of the time it says connectivity is good. I ALWAYS get 4 bars. Then it says something like DCHP is not working.

    SHAW is my Internet Service Provider.

    I suspect it is not my issue as I sometimes get connectivity?

    Thanks for ANY help. My kid is very disappointed and so am I.

    Have you already tried powercycling after the servers were down? You can do this by holding down the powerbutton for 10 seconds and turning it back on.

    if that doesn't work can you please fill this in ?
