Why I can't configure my Pendrive in Xbox 360 (updated 2020)?

I did that before, the USB drive CAN be used and is configured, however it says the performance may be bad.

So it's right in the middle: can be used but won't be 100%

And then I can't instal the DLC on the pendrive

I have this error. It started when I tried to connect to Xbox Live. It prompted me to download the Xbox Live update so I clicked yes. After downloading the update from Xbox Live, it tried to apply the update then the screen went blank for a while and showed
a message "System Update failed. Can't update your console. Please visit www.xbox.com/support" with a status code: 3151-396B-B380-0401-C000-0022. No matter how many times I restart my console, it tries to apply the update and then the message pops out from
the start and freezes. Currently, I can't do anything to my xbox 360 and updates from pendrive don't response. Please help me solve this problem, thanks.

As I said in my previous comment, I had already configured those ports and settings and nothing happened.

An hour ago I tried the simpliest thing: USB update... AN IT WORKED!

I haven't tried it before because it looked like a bad connection, and if I did it, I would be still out of Live (updated but offline). Also, I didn't focused on that pendrive method because everybody had done it already without success.

It looks like I had a slightly different error or status code (similar, but not the same).

So, the solution for me was: download the latest update on my PC, extract it to USB pendrive and run it on the XBOX.

Note: minutes after the update, a message appeared saying that I was offline and that I should check my connection (not again, I thought), but I just did the test and everything is fine so far.

The Ethernet Cable wouldn't be the issue here. The issue with this specific error code is that the XBOX 360 can't detect your storage device for your XBOX 360 to install the update.

If you can't get it to install correctly with that hard drive, try to remove the hard drive and use a USB Flash Drive and configure that with your XBOX 360 and try to install the update then.
