Why I am unable to select second SSD drive for instalation of the content?

In my "GamePass PC app / Settings / General / Change where this app installs games by default" I can see the secondary SSD drive, but I am unable to select it, even when clicking on that second drive it automaticaly jumps back to the primary C:/ drive,

WHY?

What is wrong with it?

How to make it works properly and enable to install games on second drive?

System Win 10 - PC

Screenshot > again I am unable to select D:\ as the default and even when clicking on it, GamePass App instantly switches back to C:/ drive

While installing I am unable to choose the Installation destination location, every game automathicaly installs in the C:\ drive EVEN when I have

"Ask me for install options on every install" checked.

So it should be asking, but it is not asking.

I understand you’re having some trouble when trying to install games on your second SSD, let’s try to sort this out.

However, before that, I want to ask the following questions:

Is your other SSD formatted with the NTFS file system?
Review this by opening the file explorer > my computer > right-click on the second SSD > properties

Additionally, what procedures you tried to fix this issue prior to your post creation?

I did the same, I have installed them to my seconds SSD and theses files appeared and they could not be deleted because they had elevated privileges to protect to content. I had to Format the drive to remove them.

If you install them to the C drive the files are not created.

no need to format the drive just change the security on the folders and then you can delete, its what i always do.

i don't know what the issue is, i want to use my external ssd to install games on

but it says the drive is too slow to even save video capture on it

i do not know why as the drive is as fast as the ssd drives seagate sells as official drives.

After restarting my pc I am facing a different problem. Now the game is in my installed game list and in the game page when I click the install button nothing happens. It asks me where do I want to install the game and after selecting the drive and pressing
the install button it says 'preparing' for a few seconds then it says install again. I am also unable to uninstall the game to remove it from the installed games list.
