With regards to your issue, the payment should still work even if it is a VISA card. May I ask what seems to be the error message you are getting? So long as the region of the card you are using is the same one where you are residing the payment should work fine.

I suggest to try removing and adding your payment. Aside from console you may add it via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments page. Please don't provide any personal information here for security and privacy purposes.

Im trying to buy fallout season pass but my prepaid visa wont get accepted says use diferent form of payment

I have the same issue, my VISA Debit just isn't accepted. Tried adding it online here rather than via the console and it seems to reject the card number itself rather than any other info required.

Why isn't it accepted!!

You need a prepaid credit card that is refillable and requires you to register it somehow, either online, or ones from a financial institute.

Otherwise it's just considered to be a gift card, regardless of it being visa or mastercard, and it wont be acceptable.
