Why have I been double charged for Minecraft realms

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft realms subscription charge. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

It's important to note that this is a public user-to-user community forum, and none of us here work for Microsoft.

Based on your description, it appears there is another Minecraft realm subscription active, possibly on a different account which your payment card is associated with.

Kindly check your other Microsoft accounts on account.microsoft.com > Payment and Billing > Order History > Select the date of range when the unauthorized subscription renewal was charged.

You may check if the subscription is active on account.microsoft.com > services and subscription.

Also, check the accounts' Order History of your family members or friends who might have been using your Xbox console or Windows PC frequently at your home. It might be possible that your payment card is linked to their accounts.

If the charges can't be found, I highly suggest you reach out to your financial institution to file a dispute for it as this will be considered fraudulent charges. They should apply it right away on their end so that the money is refunded back to your payment method.

I have exactly the same issue, and it has happened twice to me now. The Realm says it has expired even though the recurring billing function charged me on the renewal date, then a few days later the realm says expired, and so I click renew and it charges me for a new realm as well. I am currently being charged for 3 realms when I actually only have 1!!!

Can someone please help.

Hi there AH welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Yes sometimes getting a hold of support is tricky, I suggest contacting Xbox support by selecting the 24 hours chat option and state the following as your issue "Talk to Microsoft agent" that way you will be rerouted to support!

Thanks for the reply but this doesn't have anything to do with Xbox as I stated in my post. I'm waiting on chat again this morning but never seem to reach the front of the queue.

In order to make sure that you are getting double charged from the same account please go to Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft, sign in with your account, select payment and billing, and then select order history.

Once you find that you got charged on the same account, please select Services & subscriptions, from there you can cancel your recurring subscription.
