    Why has xbox blatantly humoured my gamertag change?


    I have attempted to change my gamertag after completing mind numbing circles through the internet, only to reveal that xbox has NOT changed my gamertag! But would you adam and eve it the next time I want to change my gamertag it will cost me. So the next time I want to be lied to, it will cost me....wow. I await my second attempt for FREE.

    It's blatantly obvious why those names violate the ToU/CoC.

    Also,if a gamertag is not suitable on xbox live then it's not suitable to be posted on these forums.

    It doesn't matter how long you've had a gamertag. If it's reported, investigated and deemed a code of conduct violation, it will be changed.

    Best to avoid poking fun and insulting a group of people. Remember not everyone has the same sense of humour and some would certainly object to the name you use on here.

    It sounds like he created a new account instead of signing into the old one. Make sure he is using the same login information.

    Have your son log into his microsoft account via this link using the exact information he used when he tried to login to the One console. It should take him to the wrong account. If so, he created a new Microsoft account/gamertag instead of logging into
    the old 360 console account. As long as he remembers the 360 account info, he can log into that account on the One console. If not, you would need to contact customer service to work through the account recovery process. Alternitivly, I've placesd some
