    why has the taken king dlc price increased for the UK


    Just wanted to ask why has the UK pricing for the taken king changed from £27.99 to £39.99 when for the US it is only $39.99 which if you put into a converter shows that the UK customer is paying nearly double for the same content also why show it at £27.99
    and then the day after changed it £39.99 this has actually irritated me as i had just gone out to get the money which i have now put onto my account to buy it as it showed it was only £27.99 but to my surprise when i went to pre-order it the price had jumped
    to £39.99 meaning that i didn't have enough money to purchase it and that i would also have to pay more money to buy it and i have stated early this also means that any UK buyer has to pay more than most others for the same content

    Destiny the taken king price

    The price of The Taken King only is $39.99 US. You can access it by launching Destiny and playing The Taken King trailer from the menu (where you select your destination).

    Please be aware that in order to purchase that DLC you will need to have previously purchased the full game and the previous 2 DLC's.

    was just about to ask this, I got an email from budgie just after e3 saying I could preorder for people who already own the game, It directed me to market place and said £27.99 but i didnt have my payment details handy so waited a few days and now its £39.99
    thats a £12 increase.

    I held off on buying the expansion with the little controversy surrounding the taken king there has been. Just waiting those couple extra days will cost me £12, I understand non USA usually have to pay extra, I presume there are a couple reasons, taxes,
    shipping, hosting costs etc, that sucks but it is what it is. but why did Microsoft put it up for £27.99 if it was always going to be £39.99. Its annoying some of my friends have saved that money that I now can't.

    The fact that seemingly almost nobody has noticed is probably the most annoying.

    yea its annoying, its probably gonna be cheaper for me to buy the actual game with everything on it.
