Why has the enforcement got double standards?

So I defend myself ingame after being provoked and prevailed, then whilst playing the bloke texts me saying how bad I was and calling me a **** and/or and kid, he also stated he was on the prowl which I have said is creepy, yet when I defend myself I get suspended, and when I reported him for saying what he did Xbox states they can't find anything wrong with what he's says

This is the worst case of double standards I've seen, support won't help me saying they couldn't do anything, and resubmitting for review I have done, multiple times, no change, what has this world come to

This world has gone soft, I remember the good old days of trash talking one another and that's how it was left, now it is provoking the other end so you can report them and for them to lose their account over some banter, it is stupid and has ruined online play for me

Cheers for the reply, the bad language I used was pedophile and ****, from memory those never used to be "very bad words"

Regardless I have come to the conclusion of not even speaking to online people, I wouldn't be surprised if this gets removed for using the same "bad language"

You can get suspended for defending yourself if you do it in a way that violates the rules.

Ignore the "xbox couldn't take any action message" as that is being sent out in error.

If you have reported this person then they will be investigated.

To get a suspension you must have used some very bad language as they don't just suspend for defending yourself. Yes what he said was creepy but you should have just reported him for that and not retaliated.
