    Why has my refund limit been reached when I haven't requested one?


    My 3 year old son accidentally purchased a digital game and in game currency. I requested to have it refunded within the hour it was purchased and it was denied saying that I had reached the max refund for the year. I have not touched the game since the accident happened and the in game currency is still on my account and not used. I have not received an email saying it was denied or being processed. I have also not requested a refund at all this year.

    I have tried that route but Microsoft makes it almost impossible to get a hold of someone who is real and not an automated system.

    I understand your issue and I'm here to help you solve it.

    Before we can go any further, can you check your Order history for any purchases that have may been refunded this year. Additionally, you can set up parental controls, it can prevent this in the future. It is easy to forget sometimes whether you have or not refunded something in the past.     I just checked my purchase history and the only thing I have bought this year was a game upgrade. I did not request a refund for that.
