Why has Game pass doubled its price in one month?

This seems very excessive for a non-tangible product to double the price in one month. Double really double? it is ridiculous.

Also EA play is not good unless it is EA Play Pro so offering someone the opportunity to play madden 2019 in 2021 is really a waste and not an added value to the service.

Game Pass for PC had an introductory price while it was in beta. Once it was fully released, the special price ended and it went to the regular price.

You can buy a ultimate subscription again but you will.have to pay full price

why so much hate on angry birds its a fun game to pass by the time, i got it on PC. it has a boat load of maps so it was worth the price.

IT was the next logical business strategy for Activision. CoD is their biggest money generating franchise, every year it makes a profit and has such a returnable investment. DLC proved to be a massive cash maker for them, they tested it out by raising the
price of their standard map packs to 1200 msp, a £10, and people bought it. Xbox Lve Subscription system showed Activision that if they put together a service, which included access to all the DLC plus other bits, for a one off payment..they would double their
money right off the bat.

More publishers are doing this now, releasing a "season Pass" allowing a one off payment for access to all extra content at a price that would be cheaper then buying it all individually. Its the way of gaming now, the online pass and now the content pass

If you are a fan of that game and do see yourself getting all its extra content then why not...its a smart business choice for the publishers, its great for fans of the game, and everybody wins.....dont they?

My Xbox Live Gold subscription was cancelled out of nowhere without my knowledge. I renewed the subscription a few months ago with a 12 month subscription. I heard it might be because my Game Pass subscription ran out, but why would that affect my Gold?? Please explain.

If you had an active Ultimate Game Pass subscription, then any Live Gold added to your account was converted to UGP at a price ratio...so, in the case of a 12 month live Gold code, it converted into 4 months Ultimate Game Pass as they are the same price.

Sounds like that is why it has run out.
