Why has every single one of my xbox series x controllers have stick drift?

According to your description, your problem is that each of your Xbox series x controllers has joystick drift.



Are you having problems with that game, is this the only game you are having problems with your controller joysticks?



You can try resetting your joystick deadzone in-game, it may have been the 0 deadzone that caused your joystick to drift before.

Your telemetry drift might be a little problem with your hardware device, you can try to check if your telemetry is working properly and try to fix it with WD-40.

Unboxed my Series X in October. Stick drift within a month. My Xbox 360 Elite controller still works flawlessly after nearly 15 years.

The new controllers are garbage.

I have bought five new controllers for my Xbox series X game console. ON the Sniper Ghost Contract games 1 and 2 my controller shoots automatically with the left stick. Once you try to hold your breath and lock to shoot an opponent the controller sticks. This is a new problem for me other then the drifting of an old controller. Has anyone else complained about this issues.

The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem

MS is fully aware of the stick drift issues with the series controllers. By making the warranty only 90 days in hopes of avoiding liability they’ve only made loyal customers far less trusting. The next class action suit might not be settled out of court so easily. Why not just switch potentiometers or use Hall effect joysticks. Why enrage an entire generation of your customers! I have purchased multiple series controllers and everyone of them has experienced stick drift within 6 months of purchase. And the small is happening on every message, complaint and comment board across the community. It’s only gonna take one hungry lawyer to exploit this willful ignorance from MS.
