Why Fanatec wheelbase losing inputs connection in F1 2021 game?

Hi.

I have an XBOX ONE and Fanatec wheelbase setup.

After a week of enjoying the new setup from Fanatec I have a problem: when I start racing in F1 2021 or time trial(doesn’t matter which mode), when I do the first turn the whole setup stops responding to any input I do.

Before steering the wheel, the throttle, brake, and other inputs work fine.

But I also noticed that the game is loading much longer than before.

And it works fine whit the controller.

I’ve updated the firmware and even reset the XBOX but it didn’t help.

What is the solution for this problem?

Sorry for the inconveniences, right now this is a known issue. It seems that the latest Xbox OS update is causing this problem.

The Xbox team is already aware of the issue and hopefully a fix is going to be released in the next days.

I use a Fanatec Porsche Turbo S wheel. I was able to get the new update through Xbox Insiders. My steering wheel inputs are now working, but I do not have any force feedback in F1 2021 and F1 22. My wheel works as expected in other games, but it's just these two where my wheel has no force feedback.

This is what I expected, however, Fanatec blame Microsoft , and Microsoft blame everyone else, and do nothing.

Why does all features work on PC and PlayStation and not Xbox.

Please explain to a novice, who is stopping this ?

This was Exactly the same when I was trying to download F1 2021 Deluxe Edition

But then followed this thread and thankfully got it resolved by changing the store location in settings.
