You can try a few troubleshooting steps that have worked for some players.

Please, reset the store and try installing the game again.

To Reset the Store, Press the Windows Key + R > Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Then, on the Microsoft Store, type your game name: "Minecraft".

Close the store and reopen it.

Load the game page and click on "Install".

If it still does work, please, look for the purchase in your Transaction History.

Thank you so much for responding to my post! At first checking for updates worked and it took it out of "pending" but when I try to open the launcher to actually download the game, it gives me this:

"Minecraft Launcher is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"

Even though I am signed in, it gives me that message. I tried signing out and signing back in and making sure there are no updates.

I'm having the same problems. For instance I can't download Halo Wars: Definitive Edition. Every time I try it immediately stops and gives me error code 0x803f8001.
