    Please tell me how this kind of response is acceptable. Was I even talking to a human being?

    Ofcource they are - that is why people want them.

    But wait till Support staff come around to address the problem you are having and see what they can offer you for help.

    My trouble with X Box Live

    I am not an Xbox support staff member, but Miss Portia and Mister Gwyther both are.

    If you take a look at the "level" on the gamertags, you will notice that yours and mine are both numbers. They indicate that we are regular Xbox user. In both of their gamertags, you will notice that it is NOT a number, it's a letter "S". That is only given
    by Xbox to their own Xbox Support staff. If they are not Support staff, they will have a number there, like us.

    Here's what the levels are:

    • 0-9 = A regular user
    • M = Forum Moderator
    • V = Microsoft MVP
    • X = Xbox staff member
    • S = Xbox Support Staff Member

    You should also note that anybody who impersonates Xbox staff or Xbox Support staff will be given a permanent instant ban from Xbox Live. They are NOT impersonating.

    Yes you were talking to a human being that was just trying to do his job and proceed with the troubleshooting steps before reaching conclusions. I suggest you to be more collaborative in the future when you reach the chat support.

    Even when and if The purchase is complete, you will still need to go to call of duty for support, as they have a dedicated support staff.

    Yep. My daughter purchased Minecraft and the payment was processed by my bank for £24.99 but Microsoft are saying they have not received the money. I have contacted the bank who have given me the reference and auth numbers but Microsoft will not accept these. The MS staff wont even take the numbers or refer to their billing team. I am going to raise this on Social Media as they have been incredibly unhelpful! I am going through a claim via my bank but this takes a long time. Really poor customer support with no way past their unhelpful front line staff
