Why dosent my looking for group posts work

I realize you're having problems with "group finding" in Xbox, and I understand how you feel.

Understanding your current situation, this problem is usually caused by network problems. You can try the following methods:

1.Change network environment：

You can try changing the network environment (for example, connecting the device to another operator's network or using a wired connection).

2.Modify NDS to strengthen the connection with Microsoft servers:

Find "Settings" - "General" - "Network Settings" - "Advanced Settings" - "DNS" on the Xbox console Settings" - "MANUAL", set "Primary DNS" to: 8.8.8.8, "Secondary DNS" to "8.8.4.4"

3.Change the Xbox console port:

In the Xbox console, find "Settings" - "General" - "Network Settings" - "Advanced Settings" - "Alternate Port Selection", change the selection to manual, use another port and restart the Xbox console, and see if you can connect normally after restarting.

4.Clear the Xbox cache:

On your Xbox console, go to Settings > System > Storage > Clear Local Xbox 360 Storage. Select Clear System Cache and confirm the action. Then restart your console to see if the Find Group feature works after restart.

It actually worked! Ive tried to powercycle before but nobody ever told me to disconnect my internet first and reconnect! I think thats what did the trick! Thank you SO much!!!

Try to disconnect your internet then powercycle your xbox one and try again.

Steps:

Turn off your Xbox One Via the power button on the console hold it for 10 seconds.

Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console's power brick are off, unplug the power brick from the back of your console.

Wait at least 30 seconds.

Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on

Connect to internet and try again

I had this problem but I fixed it by opening up certain ports in my router.

ok ill give that try again an check my privacy settings thanks wish me luck
