Why dose my internet go out when I update something on my Xbox

Have you tried putting the Xbox on a different network? If it works fine, it would suggest its your internet that is the issue rather than the console.

you would have to contact your ISP who has the ability to test and monitor your network.

I love my xbox 360 but my internet gose out from time to time i like going to my friends house how dose not have internet and playing my games. So this next gen i will be going to ps4. i dont give a *** about the dmr on the xbox one its the 24 hour check
in or i cant play my game on or offline.

thanks for the help but still not working with my eathernet cable its wierd my xbox eathernet cable that came with my xbox works but its only 3ft long and when i plug in my other one it dose not work but when i plug it in my computer to the modem the internet

okay when I turn on the game Battlefield Bad Company 2 there is a game update to the game console to download the update to the game. When the update are complete, I signed out of the game is usually going to be there when there is an update but I will not
be logged again. Then when I close the game and go to the xbox dash table, I am logged on Xbox ..

But when I'm home with my friend and download the profile on his xbox works my account and when I turn on the game will update, and I do not get signed out of xbox there is no family settings or something. It's not my internet. There are some other games
