Why don't xbox remake older games like Playstation

Just curious as to why xbox don't remake some old classics like fallout new vegas, fallout 3, oblivion, halo 3 and gun? Not like xbox is lacking in teams.

Playstation remake and "remaster" games every generation. Shadow of the colossus was on ps2, ps3 and ps4. Last of us was on ps3 ps4 and now ps5. Just to name a few.

Would be nice to play some old classic games with the back catalog Microsoft now own. And would also give players who never experienced these games the chance to.

Should.be noted all the games you are listing are first party titles to sony

MS does remakes like gears halo etc

I do and don't like the idea of HD remakes. I like them because it gives me a chance to play older games that I didn't have the time to play when I was younger or my parents didn't let me get them and to be able to play them in HD makes it all the better.
I don't like HD remakes because it feels like a cheap way to make a quick buck. I have Silent Hill 2 and 3 still so why do I need to buy them again? Doesn't matter what my answer is because regardless, I'm going to buy the game. Some remakes I'm not interested
in like the MGS ones. As long as these remakes don't go overboard like the Nintendo games which seem to get remade ever year.

1. Reboot Fallout Series (just because I would like to play the older ones on the Xbox)

2. Remake All of Resident evil to be honest (except Resident evil 4)

3. Remake of Final Fantasy XII because I did like the game on PS2

You know, they do it in games all the time... why not with systems? Re-release the original name as a remake. "Xbox." "PlayStation." "Nintendo." No numbers or gimicky suffixes. Just "bam." --Xbox. Wikipedia and mainstream sites will eventually call it the
Xbox (2013).
