Why don't they suspend the people who harass you in the game and also send mocking messages?

Whenever I play I meet unbearable people but when, in addition to the harassment within the game, some people make fun of me through messages. They make you angry, because you don't even know them, you defend yourself and they report you. They always suspend me and when I report their insults they say: Xbox can't take action, what is it about? The last person who did that is GT: [mod removed] He was harassing me from the game, he interrupted the game and started sending me messages, I just answered who he was and he started making fun of me, looking at my friends list to make fun of me and calling me a loser. I responded as I should and he reported me, now I must face an unfair suspension because of this person. I reported his messages but I get the notification that "xbox can't do anything." It's supposed to be a safe and familiar place, but why do I have to endure insults every time I play? I only play quick or casual games to avoid these competitive people and they still harass me every game. These people just want to humiliate and make others feel bad. I need help please!

Instead of responding, just report and block. Getting the message that Xbox can't do anything has been kind of glitchy lately so it's best to ignore that, but as long as you report them, the enforcement team will investigate them.

The problem is usually this. When people harass or send you abusive messages - then your son needs to block them and report them. If your son retaliates by sending abusive messages or responds in like verbally they will also suspend your son also. Each and
every account is investigated and every message sent or received, even if you delete them off your console, can be pulled up by the Enforcement team. So in the future always do not retaliate when you run across people who are harassing you

Don't send offensive messages or use offensive language & you've got nothing to worry about.

Why would you want to add someone who sent you an offensive message? That's a silly argument really.

By suspending offensive players they are protecting people on Xbox live.

Even if the people was teamkilling you just report and leave it alone, sending messages with inappropriate language will get you an communication suspension. if you're gonna send messages keep it clean.

The system is in place because you will get people who will harass, abuse others.

So the decision was upheld and the reason is i reported a persons messages to much. Just to be clear i didnt report one message over and over agin the players continuously messaged me and mocked me about being banned and the person is the buddy of the person
who got me banned. So i got banned for harassment because i was reporting the person who was harassing me while i was still communication banned.
