Why dont they make normal versons for some games and only have x/s

it's because making Xbox one versions of games cost money, a lot of money, and the new systems have been out now for three years.

Platter-based hard drives are not fast enough to load the assets for these games just like they remove the ability to play off of a disk, 20 years after the PC I might add

Flight sim 2021 is only series and pc compatible

Xbox one s would choke just loading the loading screen.

Why in heaven's name would you think 10 year old hardware run a game that makes 3-5 year old pcs have trouble runnung

The xbox one games all work on the xbox one regardless of letter

Not to mention all xbox one games are compatible with xbox one games there is no s or x designation for requirements on xbox one

Ray Tracing is on a per-game basis on both the Series S and the Series X. Some games have it, some do not. If a game has Ray Tracing it will normally be in it's options menu. Some games such as Watch Dogs Legion have ray tracing enabled by default.

Unlike Series X, the S model does not have RT for some games that the Series X has.

you can only play spiltscreen on the high definition verson of minecraft you have probably got the standard verson

If you have a One X, games that are made only for the Series S/X will not work. Some games are optimized for the Series S/X but were also released on the One and those games will work on a One X.
