Why don’t I keep my world progress when I change xboxes

Deleting profile:

It's easy to remove a Microsoft account from your Xbox One console as you don't need to sign in. See how:

Press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard.

Select System > Settings > Account > Remove Accounts.

Clearing the cache:

You can add your Microsoft account to any Xbox One console. See how:

Select your gamer image in the top left corner of the screen, scroll down and select Add New.

Enter the email address of the Microsoft account you want to add and select Enter.

Important Do not select Get a new account unless you want to. By selecting this option, you will create a new Microsoft account. If you've forgotten the email address associated with your Microsoft account, see the Lost Account Solution.

Enter the password for the Microsoft account you want to add and select Enter.

Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Policy and select I accept.

Follow the steps to configure Sign-in and Security Options to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox One console.

So I did the hard reset and it still has not worked, I don’t know what else it could be. I’m assuming that means I can no longer play my Xbox 360 games anymore and being able to save my progress. I honestly don’t know why I’m having this issue.

B. Why don’t you actually *fix* it instead of making us jump through hoops to play it? Every time there’s an update there’s something new wrong. Nearly half the maps for multiplayer don’t work and now when I go to change the reticle of my scope it just takes me back to the lobby. Nice to see that the problems just keep piling up.

Did he change his home

He’s right next to me we both have the accounts set to his xbox so I’m not sure why he has it and I don’t.

or why he can play and I can’t*, I was on like 3 hours ago and now it keeps popping up the xbox live stuff when I boot up and try to access multiplayer.

My ISP has been horrendous for nearly ten years now though and this issue hasn’t occurred up until about 2 weeks ago, I just don’t see why it would start now when the Xbox has been on the same connection for the last year and a half I’ve owned it, im going to try the factory reset option to keep games because theres also no external storage connected and I’ll update if any progress is made
