    Why don't I have Minecraft Java Anymore


    After I migrated my account to Microsoft, I lost my Java game, why is this? I bought the game and now for some reason I can't play it anymore and it says I have to buy it again, can someone please help?

    On the Minecraft launcher login page, please don't use your old Mojang account login details. You will need to click the "Go back" button on the login screen then click "Add account" and then choose "Microsoft login."

    If that doesn't work, try using the other version of the launcher which you can download from this link, https://aka.ms/minecraftClientWindows.

    Let me know if it works.

    I'm being asked to buy Minecraft: Java and Bedrock edition although I have already owned Bedrock for years and I have Java on my laptop.

    The Xbox edition of Minecraft in the screenshot is still the Bedrock edition, is it not? I should have access to Java through owning the Bedrock edition, and I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to play it if I played Java in the past with my Microsoft account without having to buy Java.
