    Why don't I have a discord option in parties & chats?


    I've been trying to use discord voice chat on my Xbox Series X in order to game with a friend on PC.

    I do not have a discord option on the Parties & Chats menu upon pressing the home button. I have already tried the following fixes with no luck:

    Unlinking and relinking discord and Xbox accounts multiple times. Have done this via desktop, console and mobile apps.

    I have cleared alternate MAC address.

    I have used my mobile phone as a hotspot and disconnected from my home router to see if it's a network blockage.

    I have power cycled my console numerous times.

    My console is fully updated and I'm not part of any alpha/beta programs.

    None of these have worked.

    Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Thank you for replying, I've followed the steps and have been able to find the option to transfer call to Xbox but it fails every time and says that the Xbox is not responding, so I'm not sure what's going on there.

    Hello!

    Hope you are well. I'll be glad to assist you.

    I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

    You can use the Discord mobile app to start your group chat and then transfer it to the console. To do this, you must have the following permissions enabled in the console.

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    2. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.

    3. Select the Enable remote features checkbox.

    4. Under Power options, select Sleep.

    Once this is done, transfer your voice channel with these steps:

    1. In the Discord app on PC or mobile, connect to the desired voice channel or call.

    2. Press the speaker icon to change the audio output.

    3. Select Xbox.

    4. Select the desired console and then select Transfer Voice.

    Hello again,

    There is not an option to uninstall discord from the Xbox Series X. Discord does not show up as an app, as it is integrated directly into the party chat functionality. Are you suggesting that I unlink the discord account?

    Discord continues not working at all. It doesnt even appear on parties & chats.
    It's because Microsoft is useless.

    Don't know why they just don't bring out the ACTUAL app

    While I currently do use Discord over XBL Party Chat, it does hinder a few of my friends that don't have a pc close to them or able to use their phone for Discord. If they did bring Discord to both Xbox and PS4 via app, you'd be able to play cross play games
    with chat easier.
