    The practise of taking recur billing is sharp practise. Why don,t you ask your customers first. I have cancelled my subscription but am unable to get a refund. Thanks a lot!

    When l purchase a service it can take a while to assess it's value. That's why most people do not press the cancel the auto renewal option. You are trying to condone a very bad practice.

    I mean, you can turn it off immediately after making the purchase so you don't forget. That's not on Microsoft. Otherwise, you agreed to it when you completed the transaction.

    This does not mean it's right. Most people will have forgotten about auto renewal.

    It is a method of maximising revenue and not in the customers interest.

    Subscriptions are taken automatically because no one turns off the auto-renewal on the Microsoft Account website. It is the responsibility of the customer to do that, not Microsoft's.

    This is common practice all over the industry, not just Microsoft.

    ^This. You're told when you purchase a subscription that recurring billing will be turned on and that you can turn it off at any time so you won't be billed again.
