    Why doesn't Xbox services do anything to get me the user back?


    I am writing to you today with great concern as I have lost access to my Xbox account, which I have invested a lot of money in over the years. Unfortunately, I also do not have access to the email associated with the account, which is making it even harder for me to regain access to my account.



    I have tried all possible methods to recover my account, including resetting my password and answering the security questions, but have not been successful in my attempts. I have also contacted your support team multiple times, but have not received any helpful responses.



    I am reaching out to you through this tweet in hopes that I can get the assistance I need to regain access to my account. I understand that you receive numerous support requests every day, but I hope you can understand that this account is very important to me, and I have invested a significant amount of money and time into it.



    I am willing to do whatever it takes to recover my account, but I need your support and assistance to do so. If there is anything more I can do to prove my identity or any other information you need from me, please let me know.

    Gamertag does not exist

    Hi there,

    gamertags are unique across several services, one is the xbox live service, but there is aslo the Zune service.

    So your gamertag may be in use on one of those other services, that's why it mentiones that it is already in use and why it is saying that the gamertag isn't existing on xbox live.

    I don't think there is anything you can do to get it back.

    Xbox Support just informed me that some Xbox 360 users are experiencing this issue. It's not affecting everyone which is why they haven't announced it on the XBL service status page. There's nothing we can do, it's all on the XBL back-end team to address.

    Microsoft customer service sucks that's why.... It took me 2 weeks to actually get the movie I bought on Xbox video service back and that's after they had to buy 1600 Ms points themselves and buy the movie again to actually "fix" the issue

    You can't service anything inside the Xbox 360 console yourself.

    If you wish to get the console serviced, you need to sign it up for repairs here.
