Why doesn't User Feedback work?

They've already had a system to vote/request backwards compatible games and that was removed when the feedback site was replaced with Ideas.

Otherwise, if it's something that's already listed on the site, or does not fit the current categories the site is requesting the types of feedback to be, it won't be added.

Reach out to any developers/publishers you can. Unfortunately that's really all that can be done.

The reason they had the back compat vote system was too show too dev and publishers and others that own IP and copyright that there was a demand for it. Since now there is well over 500 back compat games there isnt the need for microsoft too "prove" that

one of the major things stopping back compat was that devs and pubs didnt do it because gamers want new games not old. The site voting helped microsoft too show that wasnt the case. Contacting the dev or publisher is one way but in genreal the support teams
that you contact it isnt in there remit. Dessions too make games on back compat are made by the high ups in these compnaies not by there support teams. There is also many resons why a company may not want too make a game BC.

This is true. I am not trying to sound like a jerk here I just. Really wish we could have those old games back. That's all. But join the club am I right? I won't give up there must be something I can do... To help make that a reality I mean.

Even with the vote, there was no guarantee the games would become backwards compatible. Microsoft can't just flip a switch and make them compatible. The developers/publishers have to put in a little work too. There also may be issues due to things like
licensing that can keep them from being made available.
