Why doesn't the keyboard work for menu navigation after system update?

Please, reset your console.

You can follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

I can get to the troubleshooting menu but I am unable to navigate the menu to get to the option to reset. I have tried multiple wireless controllers, a wired controller, and a keyboard. None of them will navigate that menu. I can navigate the power menu to shut it off so it isn't a controller issue. Customer support was useless and rude. Suggested I pay someone to fix it. Hello? Your update caused it. You fix it for free.

After you deleted the update, are the games working out?

I would suggest trying to clear the cache see if that make a difference.

To clear your cache, navigate to the ‘My Xbox’ channel in the dashboard menu, within which you can select ‘System Settings’. Select ‘memory,’ highlight the HDD, and press (Y). Select ‘Clear System Cache,’ then ‘Yes.’

If it still doesn't work, try running the game without the hard drive, If it works then you'll need a hard drive replacement.

I have the same exact problem but can navigate the power menu so it is not a controller issue. I have tried other controllers and even a keyboard. Still can't navigate the troubleshooting menu.

I don't know why but like sudently my keyboard dont work on fortnite it do that when i was switching keyboard but my new mouse work fine on the game menu and in game
