why doesnt my fallout 3 X Box 360 disc play on my X Box One?

It's a regular disc alng with the add on disc.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to get this sort of problem sorted out. I can totally understand how eager you might be to blast mutants in the Capitol Wasteland, so let's see if we can help. I have seen this problem pop up because
a console was not updated appropriately, so I would recommend trying a soft factory reset (the kind denoted reset and keep my games & apps)when you get the chance.

Are you trying to use the regular fallout 3 disc or the game of the year edition? I've read a lot of posts saying there are problems with the game of the year edition saying it won't work or it won't let you install the dlc. Do you have any other backwards
compatible discs that won't work either or is it just fallout?

No just says tcannot be played here or something close to that?
