why doesn't halo 2 install first!?

Seriously, I would guess that most people want to play either matchmaking or halo 2 story. So it installs halo and halo 3 first. Awesome. This sucks.

Halo 4 ingame error

When I put in my Halo 4 'Disc 2' I press start and basically what it says is 'Content is installed. Insert Halo play disc.' It tells me '(A) OK'. I constantly press (A) but the game doesn't seem to acknowledge. When it said insert Halo Play disc, I insert
disc 1 (Campaign) and it works fine. I install disc 1 but it doesn't let me install disc 2(Multiplayer). I start it and the same error occurs again and again. I just got the game and this is the first time I tried multiplayer so I have absolutely no idea what
is happening.

Halo Wars 2 Ultimate not unlocking Halo Wars 1 on PC

Hi, I've recently bought a prepaid code for the Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition (marked as a Play Anywhere title). I'm able to install Halo Wars 2 on both my PC and Xbox One, but Halo Wars 1 will only install on my Xbox One and doesn't show in my PC library.
Please can you advise?

While I do agree that the game "Just came out" and I will give it time to correct itself, this is not the first installment of Halo, or the first time MatchMaking was invented.

This franchise is from 2001. XBox Live since Halo 2. The wheel has already been invented. Why does this wheel feel flat?

Start with the Halo Anniversary edition. It's the first story in the line. Then Halo 2 then Halo 3. From there you can move on to Halo wars, Reach, ODST etc. It doesn't matter which order you play those in.

Both of them should require disc if they were installed using that way but if the game was already on your account or was part of the downloads for the newer Tom Clancy games explains why Vegas 2 doesn't need a disc.

I think I installed them when they were offered as the monthly free games for gold. That might be why Vegas 2 doesn't need the disc. Not sure why Vegas needs the disc. Thanks for the response.

IIRC the humans knew about the forerunners from covenant transmissions. The first real forerunner structure they found was installation 04, or the very first halo game. Since cortana was able to get info from both structures, I'm sure she sent all the info
to ONI to help determine they're history, hierarchy, etc. most of their history is explained in the first halo (why they died, the explination of the flood) and the books helped cover a majority of the rest. In H4, the librarian reveals what the flood originally
evolved from and why.
