Why doesn'r Microsoft pay for exclusive content?

From Call of Duty to Destiny, PSN continues to pay for exclusive content and bundles while XBL doesn't. And I WOULD be okay with that, if I wasn't paying to use XBL while those that use PSN don't pay for a sunscription. So can someone from XBL please shed
some light on why they don't think it is in the best interest of the peoplease that pay for their service to reward them back with doing what is in our interest? I love my Xbox and probably won't switch, but why aren't you trying to get a leg up on Playstation
by paying for exclusive bundles and content with games that are on both playforms? It makes you look bad. Please reply, thanks, Seth

There Will Likely Never be Another Xbox One Exclusive

@Burnin TODI I thyink Microsoft want to hitch their wagon to VR just like Sony. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Scorpio bundle that includes the Oculus Rift, which alrady bundles a Xbox One control with the headset.

@Farscape247 Its very true. If the game is on more than one system then it isn't an Xbox One exclusive. Sure it's a Microsoft exclusive but surely all that does it hurt the Xbox One.

@Unreal Warfare I believe so but I've not seen that confirmed anywhere. Which brings up the Gold fee again. You are going to find yourself playing against people who don't have to pay to play online on the exact same service.

@Zero Divided I'm interested in it as a form of discussion. Microsoft to seem to actively want to put people off the Xbox One. They annouce the S then render it obsolete by saying the Scorpio is coming in just 18 months.

@pkvas yes it is Microsoft exclusive but not One exclusive. They've removed incentive for some to buy a One. Why buy the console if you have a system that can run all the exclusive games for it already.

@brandiesel1 what exclusives will there be? Microsoft are bringing all their exclusives to the PC, so what incentive do third parties have to make a game exclusive beyond a timed deal like Rise of the Tomb Raider. If Microdoft don't have confidence in the
selling power of their console for games, why on Earth should third parties?

I agree with you about the Gold fee. Why should some get to game on the service for free when others have to pay. I forsee forums exploding with 'why do I have to pay' posts.

Microsoft seriously needs to pay a company to make a really good exclusive baseball game in comparison to the show for PlayStation

 

Unfortunately, you will probably not get an official Microsoft response as they don't typically monitor these forums. I am not sure they would discuss their business model with anyone outside the company anyway. Maybe if you were a shareholder you could
get the answers to your questions.

 

they had exclusive rights until this edition of cod. they lost the rights partly due to the sales of the one.

 

im sure they didnt make a offer/sign a contract^
