    Why does Xbox think i am in a Family?


    Hello all. I am having trouble accessing multiple features on this account. when i try to access them, it says that i can't as i am in a family safety thing. However, when i check my family settings it says that i am not in a family safety thing. This is driving me nuts as i just want to access features and it feels like it is tantalizing me. ANY help would be appreciated

    There does seem to be a bug on the looking for group side of things on Xbox app, sometimes you do need to rephrase it on console as well. It can be the tags or the way it's put forward to keywords can make it a bit difficult so please try again in different
    wording.

    I don't think you understand how family accounts work

    Family accounts don't share benefits or dlc

    Home console does and only DLC

    FAMILY accounts let's the parental account control what a child does that's it

    No console let's you do what you think family accounts do

    If I go to that page, it says I am not in a family already. I think the family is only tied to my xbox live account specifically somehow. So I'm not sure what to do there.
