    Why does valorant voice chat not record


    I've just started recording my ingame preformances on Valorant with Xbox Game Bar and after playing and rewatching my recordings i noticed that it doesnt record my teammates voices when speaking with the ingame VC. I looked into the settings and nothing seemed to fix this issue. When i tried recording my game with Obs Studio thought my teammates VC was recorded. I cannot understand if it's a problem from the game or the Xbox Bar.

    Please check Xbox party settings. If you're in an Xbox party, it automatically mute your in-game mic. Leave the party and test your mic in Valorant again.

    And then verify In-game audio settings by going to Settings > Audio > Voice Chat in Valorant. Make sure that the Team Voice Chat and Party Voice Chat are enabled. Please check your input and output devices to ensure the correct headset and microphone are selected.

    Next is to ensure that your Xbox system software and Valorant game are updated to the latest versions because updates fix bugs and compatibility issues.

    Then test your mic on another app or device. And see if it works.

    If the issue persists after performing the troubleooting steps, kindly uninstall and reinstall Valorant on your Xbox because this can clear any corrupted files causing the problem.

    Game chat audio not included in recordings

    Xbox clips don't record voice/game chat currently. You can record the voice on a different device and then add it to your gameplay, or stream the content trough twitch. You can also use a capture card.

    But if you don't have any equipment, only the Xbox recording feature will not record the game chat/party voice.
