    majority of the games do that.. mass effect 3 did that.. so did borderlands 2.. .. to name a few.. something that happpens.. just gotta live with it..... or dont!!

    Check again and make sure it does say Minecraft for Windows 10 and not just Minecraft. If it only says Minecraft, then he bought the Xbox version, not the PC version.
