    Why does the YouTube app always crash when I try to open it on my 360?


    It looks like it’s loading and then automatically a message pops up saying it is unavailable. Not sure what to do. My internet is fine and I have loads of storage on my console. Tried deleting and reinstalling but still doesn’t work.

    Hi Liliana, I'm Ryan.

    Most apps unfortunately no longer work on Xbox 360 due to obsolete software and security updates not being supported. This the same for Internet Expolrer, Netflix, etc as well.

    You'd need at least either an Xbox One or Series X|S to watch YouTube on Xbox. If you have a smart TV or another compatible device, you should be able to watch it on there.

    If you have the youtube app open on your console can you try closing it to see if the console still crashes. I know with my console a little while ago if I had the youtube app open even in the background it would sometimes cause my console to crash when

    My Youtube app ALWAYS crashes while searching for videos. Never fails. Even clearing the cache does not help nor does reinstalling the app. Pathetic.
