Why does the Xbox series X lose WiFi connection capability when the console power shuts off?

I have tried using hotspot when I was doing the first setup/updates. The Xbox told me that I had issues and canceled everything while trying to finish the setup. Tried again on my home WiFi and it said something like oops, you really don’t have a problem. I thought it was really odd for a console to say.

While playing with the network setting this week, I have got the console to tell me it was a hardware problem and “we’re not sure what’s wrong” message

I used the Xbox one everyday with no issues for a very long time. The series x is basically in the same spot as the One was. The smart tv that the Xbox X is connected to has zero connection problems.

Thank you for trying to assist with this problem. I really hope my words are not sounding ungrateful. Any other thoughts?

It can be an issue between your router and the console.

If you know how to do it, make a Wi-Fi hotspot router on your phone and connect to it.

That way we can isolate the issue, by testing another internet connection, using your mobile data plan.

Please, try clearing your MAC address.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console and then select Restart.

(If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

Sign in to your console.

This is an unusual error.

We can still try a few things.

You can use your Xbox IP on the DMZ of your Router.

Setting a Static IP alone, should help with this, if it's a router DHCP issue.

A) On your Router

1. Make sure to use the ethernet cable connection, it is more reliable than the Wi-Fi one. (If possible)

2. You then, have to assign a static (fixed) IP for your Xbox console on your router, which will enable you to do the next steps

3. Turn on DMZ under the IP you selected for your Xbox Console.

4. Turn on UPnP on your router

By doing that, you'll pretty much have an open and direct connection to the game servers.

Configure the network settings accordingly.

Enter the Settings menu.

Under the General tab, select Network Settings then Advanced Settings.

Take note of the information displayed

Select IP Settings > Manual.

Enter the same IP you configured on your router DMZ.

I tried two different times. No luck.

I am going to reset the console again now knowing that it will go offline as soon as I turn the console off.
