    Why does the update keep restarting when my xbox turns off


    My Xbox says it needs an update. As soon as it gets close to finishing my Xbox turns off. Then when I turn it back on the update restarts.

    Just to confirm which Xbox is this? Have you tried a full power cycle of the console?

    Yep. No affect.
    The xbox one has updates sometimes when the console is off. Does the drive keep spinning for more than 10 minutes after you turn off the console?

    Also, does the drive park when the console turns off? And it keeps spinning?
