Why does Starfield keep crashing on my series x?

It’s the same with my series X. Everything is fine on my end. The game either freezes or crashes at least 5 times a play through. I heard Starfield can’t keep up with the graphics that X expects on their end.

Network has nothing to do with this issue.

The issue is that the code in the game is half baked.

The longer you play the m ore the game lags. Anytime an autosave is triggered everything freezes until the autosave is done. Anytime you make a manual save, whether it is a quicksave or a full save the game freezes and takes an inordinate amount of time to unfreeze or it just crashes.

Other times the game just outright crashes/freezes for no reason at all other than bad coding which I am attributing to a memory leak because it happens over time the more you play during one session.

This is happening on an Xbox Series X with the installation on the stock internal drive (I have also tried my Microsoft approved external drive with the very same results).

This is a Bethesda coding issue and it needs to be addressed because it makes the game unplayable.

Not only am I having the same issues that others have already addressed (no need repeat what's already been said), I'm finding outposts to be almost unusable with all the crashes that are happening. And it's gotten so MUCH worse since the last patch. I've gone through the troubleshooting multiple times... absolutely no help. I've given up playing (to lvl 81) after so many crashes until these issues are resolved (if they are resolved). Have to say that when it does work, it's an amazing game. So back to my PS5 in hopes Microsoft and Bethesda will pull it together... I mean if I could play 4 hours in a row without a crash, that would be acceptable for me lol, but every 1-2 hours, not worth it, rather spend my time (and money) on something that works. Sorry for negative reply, but I bought the Premium Edition with great expectations, now I feel ripped off and that the money was wasted. Reminds me a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 when it first came out (total trash), but CD Projekt Red really stepped up to the plate and made a decent game. Here's to hoping the same happens with Starfield. Just to be clear, playing on XBox series X.

Same on my end. None of my other games have this issue. It has to b the Starfield game even though I installed the XS version.

You have written exactly what are my sentiments...love the game and so very much want to play it on my xbox series but these same problems are making me helpless...totally helpless 😪😪😪😪😪
