why does remote play disconnect every time i unmute my mic?

I mean, I play on Xbox series x but my mic on remote play Xbox app will not unmute

I have the same issue - lost sound on TV time to time and today when the sound was gone I tried to play remotely on phone and there was no problem with sound. Then disconnected from remote and sound was back to TV.

Try this ^^^ It works for me every time.

I tried remote code 0000 for the UW40TC1W. Volume up / down and mute / unmute work, but power on / off does not.

I've tried that 3 times and nothing. I have turned on the mic at least 8 times while playing NFS every time it has froze the screen for 3 secs then disconnected me from LIVE. Today I didn't use the mic and I played NFS for about a total of 4 hours and the
game ran fine no disconnects. If I boot the mic up then start the game there won't be any problems. Still it shouldn't be doing this by turning the mic on at any time. Both mics do it. So far its disconnected me on MK arcade collection and NFS but on MW3
it doesn't.
