    Why does nba2k 25 freeze my Xbox series s console?


    I bought the tournament edition for Xbox series S 4 separate times and the standard edition once to try and play this game but every time I start playing it the screen freezes and the controller is useless. After each times downloaded the game and it freezing I requested a refund and I would go ahead and complete the troubleshooting tips to fix any issue before buying it again.

    Here is a list of everything I have tried to in order to play this game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I deleted and reinstalled my profile, I have cleared the local storage for both Xbox 360 and series S, I deleted saved storage space, I factory reset my console, I have tried to make a new profile, I bought an ultra high speed hdmi cord that supports ultra high speeds, and I even bought a new 4k LG TV that supports the necessary things.

    None of this worked. Every time I start the game within 30-90 seconds the screen freezes and I have to unplug the console to get out to shut off because the console doesn’t respond to any remote commands.. The Xbox one version works perfectly fine, but the series S freezes every time.

    My console has all of its updates. I have all of the settings that are required to be on for a 4k tv to work on. I have downloaded other series S games to ensure that it’s not my console, and the other games work fine. I also thought that maybe it was the tournament edition that had a bad code or something, so after I bought and returned this game for a third time I bought the standard edition and it still froze within 30-90 seconds.

    series x has disc drive and the series s does not

    smart delivery is so it downloads the content for the specific console

    hence why the game case has series x and xbox one advertised on it. the disc can be used in series x and xbox one consoles, the series s does not have a drive therefore requires digital purchase.

    NO! Unlike some games that have an Xbox One version that will upgrade to the the S|X version if you put it in a series X, NBA2K for S|X is a complete different version than the Xbox One version and it will not work if you put the disc inside of an Xbox One. Xbox One cannon run a Series X game and putting a Series X disc inside an X1 will not install the X1 version.

    Well first there is no series s with a bluray drive

    Xbox one s does and that isn't a series s

    Xbox one games are compatible with xbox one games whenever it is one x or s

    Series consoles are just xbox series NOT one s or x

    They labeled series consoles that way for a reason to differentiate xbox one games from series games
