Why does my Xbox wired Controller Not Take any input after Turning on my Xbox with it?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having a problem connecting your controller to the Xbox, but don't worry, I will do my best to try to help you solve this problem.

The first thing we will do is a power cycle, this should fix the problem you are having, so follow these steps:

1. Turn off the console by pressing the Xbox Button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it turns off completely.
2. Disconnect the power cable from the console. Wait ten seconds.

Note: Make sure you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

1. Plug the console power cable back in.
2. Press the Xbox Button on your console to turn it back on.

Once we have completed these steps, we will try again restoring the controls by following these steps:

Press and hold the Xbox button for 5–10 seconds, until the controller turns off. Wait a few seconds and press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on.

Hi,thank you for taking your time to lend some help, my controller is mainly a wireless one but it does support a wired connection too. I tried connecting it to the Xbox using a wire, but still the controller was yet not lighting up(Logo button). I did plug it to my laptop and to my surprise it turned on for a bit but then the light turned off and there was just vibrations occuring while it was plugged and now the light does not turn anymore when it's plugged to the laptop only vibrations.

On a related note - I can't get my Win10 computer to take input from my wired controller. It sees it is plugged in and makes a 'ding' connecting noise when I turn it on, but then the controller just sits there flashing the central button. Maybe a related
issue?

[/quote]Why wouldn't I? My wired headset works better than any wireless headset I've ever used. MY wired controller is lighter and again has less input lag than a wired version. Wired products(whether you want to admit it or not) are better than wireless
ones any day of the week.

I fixed controller finally with brook 360 to xbox 1 my one x was bhrougth in nov 2019 and it supports wired controller got a wired 360 controller too price where like total like a new controller i use my tummy on a and rest of end to x y b i dont understand
why my controllers like dont register holding down a or presses dont input
