Why does my Xbox turn off immediately after opening the troubleshooting menu?

I have a Series S console. For some reason it won’t update online, so I have to perform offline system updates. Every other function online works, but there’s always an issue updating it.

This would be fine, except I can’t get the troubleshooting menu to stay open for more than 5 seconds before the Xbox just powers down. I’ve sent it in for repairs twice now and the same issue persists. Is this a common occurrence? What is going on?

Hello again, if really can not install the system the ideal would be to send your console for Microsoft warranty

You access the site above and register a new device using the serial number. you find behind your console.

Then in MORE DETAILS, look to request repair, Start Online Service.

To mail it to Microsoft.

Hello Joshua,this really is weird, even more happen with a console that has already gone to microsoft warranty and returned.

Say one thing, your console is connected directly to an electrical outlet or it is plugged into some kind of electrical stabilizer?

Hello again, this is even strange, as said that sent the console twice for warranty is unlikely to come ever with the same problem.

You've already tried updating the console the last Update in March to see if it's back to normal.

I’ve tried both directly plugging it into the wall, as well as into a surge protector. I’ve used the same outlets for other consoles which have no problems, it’s just my Xbox.
