    Why does my Xbox Series X controller spaz out only when playing MLB The Show 24?


    When (and only when) playing MLB The Show 24, my Xbox Series X controller opens the pause menu, scrolls through the fields quickly, and ultimately triggers the capture/share function when I press A to swing the bat. It doesn't happen with any other game, nor does it even happen when I am playing defense in game. Only when I swing the bat.

    I have updated the controller, my mapping is not set to anything abnormal, I have deleted/reinstalled the game numerous times, and I have replaced the batteries ad nauseum. It's clear that it only occurs when I am in a particular situation in this particular game (happens on over 50% of the swings), so I don't assume it to be an issue with the Xbox itself, the wireless connection, etc.

    Is this a known bug? What can I do to fix this? It renders the game utterly unplayable.

    MLB The Show 24 is showing a triangle with a exclamation point to n the right corner, has the game been removed from game pass? If so why have it for a little over a month to take it away?

    Both the Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X versions of MLB The Show 24 are still included in Game Pass for Console and Game Pass Ultimate. For your reference, both of the games' listings have the "Included with Game Pass" button:

    Xbox Series X keeps shutting off

    Ive got the exact same problem and its only with MLB the show.

    Loads the menus, as soon as it get to the game the console shuts off.

    No other series X game does this to me and its only on the Series X version of MLB 21, it can play the standard Xbox One version absolutely fine though.

    Ive deleted the game and redownloaded it twice, I even fully factory reset my xbox and it still does it.

    Ive tried different resolutions, 60 and 120hz options, HDR on and off and no joy at all.

    I am are using play and charge kit on the xbox series x wireless controller it is are not official one but it is are working on the controller perfectly fine but the indicator does show medium battery level at all times and sometimes it does show fool battery level rather than that it is are working properly in the right way on the series x controller without any issues.
